As an employee with an Employer of Choice you can expect a much more open and supportive environment to work in. You are likely to find more access to professional development and training opportunities, more flexible work hours, current technology, a culture built on mutual respect and personal responsibility, open communication, regular encouragement and recognition for creativity and new ideas and a competitive level of remuneration. There is also a greater reward for the business by being an Employer of Choice. Their rewards include some very solid proven benefits. They can expect to see higher levels of staff retention and lower levels of absenteeism, more innovative and creative ideas to improve the business, a greater ability to attract new employees, customer satisfaction and loyalty improvements and their productivity and profitability goes up. This type of work environment also has benefits that reach into your private life. If you are content and happy in the one third of your life that is your work, then you will more than likely be more content with another third of your life while you are awake.
